papertrey ink day 2 part 2

This is another card for day 2 of Papertrey Ink's anniversary celebrations. I am loving the images in the free download! So for this card I chose the cassette from Erin Lincoln. I am really looking forward to seeing what Erin designs for PTI in the coming year. For today I paired the cassette with grunge me and signature greetings and came up with this card.

Supplies: Stamps - Papertrey Ink free download, grunge me, signature greetings; Ink - Versacolor canary, Versafine onyx black

I don't know what the kids are wearing in your part of the world, but there is a real fluorescent thing going on here, so I chose the brightest yellow ink I could for the background splatters.

LOL! I definitely get 80s dayglo flashbacks when I see kids these days!

Love your card - grunge goes perfectly with that image!

This is so neat! I really like the simplicity! I can't believe kids today don't know what a cassette tape is.... my kids have never had them... I could really blow their minds with eight-tracks! LOL
