Beautiful simpicity

That's what Carly Robertson's creations have - beautiful simplicity. Pop along to her blog or Splitcoast gallery and delight in CAS perfection. So I was delighted to find that Carly is this weeks featured stamper on Splitcoast. I chose this card to case. Here's my version.

The butterfly is made up from a stamped body from PTI's set Wishing You and then a double die cut. The lower die cut is dark purple and then the stamped die cut on top. You might be able to see it better in this photo.

I used Carly's card as my inspiration but I also used the colours from this weeks CR84FN and the bling meets the CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

And for those in the UK - wow is it windy your way! All my flowers have been flattened and I can't believe the angles the trees are bending to! I'm hoping we don't get any damage. Take care and keep your hand on your hat!

Debby

Supplies:

Stamps - PTI beyond basics borders, wishing you, love lives here
Inks - Versacolor grape
Card - PTI kraft, SU elegant eggplant
Paper - Craft Creations
Die - PTI love lives here, small scallop
Divine twine
Adhesive stones

This is such a well-balanced card. The thin strip of gingham, the tiny bling among the purple stamped leaves, the twine...it all flows perfectly. I LOVE whrn you play along with our CAS-ual Fridays challenges Debby!

Aw... purple is one of my favorites to use on cards and this one totally ROCKS! It also fits our CAS challenge that is going on over at The Kraft Journal this week... I hope you consider entering it there for a chance to win prizes too! http://thekraftjournal.blogspot.com/2011/05/make-it-monday-with-kraft-outlet-clean.html

Oh, this is sooo pretty! I love Carly's cards and I also totally love your take on it! I'm crazy about purple, so I love that and then the combination of the kraft and the 'white' in the card, with the gorgeous details... it's just perfect! Love it!

Gotta love both Carly's and your own style, Debby! Hope you haven't blown away (it's been a few wobbly drives to and from work this week and I'm not even in Scotland!)
Keep safe!

Oh my gosh, this is fantastic!! It's CAS perfection (and shhhh... better than the original in my mind) I love the combination of the butterfly and the leaf, and how the leaf image goes over top of the gingham. It's just perfect.
